For our well-known client based in Naumburg, we are looking for you as a full-time TECHNICAL PURCHASER (m/f/d) for direct placement.

Your tasks:

• Procurement of drawing parts, welded bodies, raw materials (blanks) and other direct product groups
• Strategic supplier development and qualification
• Processing of orders in day-to-day business including order initiation and complaint processing
• Deadline monitoring of orders
• Price comparisons / Internet research / Acquisition
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Acquiring new suppliers
• Offer comparisons and price analyses
• Developing potential savings to reduce costs
• Conducting and following up on purchasing negotiations

Your profile:

• Completed commercial or technical training with professional experience in technical purchasing or studies in industrial engineering or economics
• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical purchasing
• Negotiating skills and assertiveness in dealing with suppliers
• Experience and understanding of cross-departmental mechanisms and their effects
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Good IT and MS Office skills 
• Experience in working with ERP systems
• Car to reach the place of work desirable
