As a payroll accountant (m/f/d), you play a crucial role in the company by ensuring the correct accounting of employees' salaries and wages. Your work contributes significantly to the satisfaction of the workforce and compliance with legal regulations.

Your area of responsibility:

• Independent and autonomous implementation of monthly payroll accounting for the companies and employees to be supported, including the associated monthly and annual closing work
• Contact person for managers and employees for all payroll accounting matters
• Correspondence with health insurance companies, insurance companies, government offices and authorities
• Creation of certificates, evaluations and statistics
• Collaboration and implementation of special projects (e.g. further development of the billing tool)

What you bring with you:

• Completed commercial training with a focus on payroll accounting
• Professional experience in payroll accounting
• Sound knowledge of wage tax, social security and VAT law
• Experience with DATEV
• Experienced with MS Office programs
