Your tasks:
- Responsible for the proper, timely and cost-effective processing of financial accounting, taking into account internal specification documents as well as legal requirements/regulations, generally applicable norms and guidelines and recognized standards
- Support with intercompany reconciliations - also at group level
- Independent completion of monthly and year-end closing work including monthly reporting
- Carrying out balance sheet analyses and planning
- Creating statistical reports
- Calculation of income taxes and deferred taxes
- Monitoring and maintenance of provisions and other accruals and deferrals
- Collaboration and support for group consolidation
- Close cooperation with the Group Treasury and Accounting department
- Contact for tax authorities
and auditors - In the case of possible acquisitions, integration of accounting into the company's own ERP system (MS Navision) if necessary
- Support with stocktaking / inventory work incl. management of the operating unit's fixed assets
- Support for process optimization projects in the commercial areas, e.g. ERP system optimization (SAP S4 HANA)
Your profile:
- Successfully completed commercial training with further training as
Accountant IHK (m/f/d) / International Accountant IFRS (m/f/d) - Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position
- Financial statement security HGB and BilMoG as well as basic knowledge of international accounting regulations
- Accurate and structured work with an analytical and tax law understanding
- High level of commitment and initiative
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
- Sound ERP system knowledge - ideally in MS Navision or SAP
