Your tasks:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Preparation of monthly reporting including deviation analyses and derivation of corrective measures
- Preparation of forecasts, budgets and multi-year plans
- Implementation of cost center planning including preparation and analysis of variances (target/actual)
- Plan and variance analyses for costs, calculations and key production figures
- Maintenance, further development and alignment of cost accounting with Group specifications
- Preparation of liquidity planning and cash management
- Submission of advance VAT returns (in Germany and abroad)
- Preparation of monthly reports / annual financial statements with explanations for the Managing Director and the Finance Manager
- Support with VAT returns, Intrastat declarations and income tax returns
- Determination and analysis of production deviations, sales and gross margins
- Planning and improvement of working capital (inventories, receivables and liabilities)
- Maintenance of the financial and operational dashboard
- Implementation of improvement projects in relation to automation, integration projects, etc.
- Sparring partner for the plant manager and other colleagues, active search for improvement opportunities, advice on decision-making
- Support with cost calculation
Your profile:
- Successfully completed studies in business administration, finance management or similar or completed vocational training with appropriate qualifications
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, preferably in the controlling department of an international company
- Experienced with all common MS-Office applications, especially MS-Excel / Powerpoint
- Experience in complex matrix environments is desirable
- Business fluent in English
- German language skills at basic level (B2)
- Open-mindedness towards solutions, changes and innovations
- Analytical skills
