On behalf of a well-known client from the Hamburg region, we are looking for exactly you as an engineer for merchant shipping (m/f/d) for direct placement.

Your tasks:

  • Coordination, management and implementation of worldwide repair, maintenance, conversion and new construction projects
  • Carrying out ship inspections and designing possible repair and solution approaches
  • Development and testing of technical specifications and assembly concepts
  • Preparation of cost calculations and offers
  • Obtaining and evaluating external deliveries and services
  • Customer support during the project phase and in the course of project implementation
  • Preparation of technical drawings and project documentation
  • Communication and reporting with the division management

Your profile:

  • Marine or mechanical engineer
  • Or state-certified mechanical engineering technician or comparable training with professional experience as a manager
  • Confident and business-savvy appearance and assertiveness
  • Sound knowledge of industry-specific class regulations and general rules of technology
  • Experience in the maritime sector (merchant shipping) and as a project manager is essential
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Willingness to work and travel
  • Fluent written & spoken English
