Your tasks:
- Coordination, management and implementation of worldwide repair, maintenance, conversion and new construction projects
- Carrying out ship inspections and designing possible repair and solution approaches
- Development and testing of technical specifications and assembly concepts
- Preparation of cost calculations and offers
- Obtaining and evaluating external deliveries and services
- Customer support during the project phase and in the course of project implementation
- Preparation of technical drawings and project documentation
- Communication and reporting with the division management
Your profile:
- Marine or mechanical engineer
- Or state-certified mechanical engineering technician or comparable training with professional experience as a manager
- Confident and business-savvy appearance and assertiveness
- Sound knowledge of industry-specific class regulations and general rules of technology
- Experience in the maritime sector (merchant shipping) and as a project manager is essential
- Proficient with MS Office
- Willingness to work and travel
- Fluent written & spoken English
