Your tasks:
- You coordinate the service providers in the customs environment.
- You select new service providers, expand them and optimize the existing structure in accordance with the work contract rules.
- You further develop metrics to effectively manage the service provider portfolio.
Your profile:
- Completed studies in business administration or a comparable subject area
- Alternatively: Completed commercial training (e.g. wholesale and foreign trade clerk, industrial clerk) with appropriate further training and several years of professional experience, ideally in the field of customs and foreign trade
- Several years of relevant professional experience in customs and foreign trade law
- Experience in the application of customs and foreign trade law, safe handling of the regulations for the classification of goods in the customs tariff as well as the classification of goods according to Regulation (EU) 2021/821 (dual-use) and, if applicable, other embargo regulations
- Technical understanding of how mechanical and electronic components work
- Good knowledge of customs tariff nomenclature, an advantage
- Advanced SAP knowledge, an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office applications
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Independent way of working in a team
- Work independently according to specifications and in compliance with deadlines
