Export clerk / customs clerk (m/f/d)

For our client from Braunschweig we are looking for an experienced Export Clerk / Customs Clerk (m/f/d) for direct placement.

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for shipping and customs clearance (Europe, possibly also USA / Asia)
• Obtaining freight quotes and calculating transportation costs
• Recording stock transfers, customer orders and material documents
• Monitoring of stock and procurement of packaging material for export goods
• Stock control and carrying out inventories

Your profile:

• Completed commercial training, ideally as a businessman for forwarding and logistics services (m/f/d), businessman for wholesale and foreign trade management (m/f/d) or industrial clerk (m/f/d)
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• Independent and structured way of working
• Organizational and communication skills
• Confident handling of MS Office and possibly SAP
• Good written and spoken German and English, another foreign language desirable
