As an Accounts Payable Clerk (m/f/d) at our client's site in Ludwigshafen , you will be an essential part of the finance department. You will ensure that all incoming invoices are booked correctly and on time and thus actively contribute to the smooth running of the financial processes. Your tasks:
- Recording and checking incoming invoices, as well as their account assignment and posting
- Preparation and transmission of VAT returns in accordance with UStG
- Independent maintenance and reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Conscientious processing and monitoring of payment runs
- Support and representation within the accounting department as well as close cooperation with the purchasing and controlling departments
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines as part of compliance measures
- Proper documentation and archiving of all relevant documents
- Collaboration in the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements (such as closing asset accounting and preparation of accruals and deferrals)
- Support and representation within the accounting department
Your profile:
- Completed commercial training as an accountant (m/f/d), financial accountant (m/f/d) or comparable
- Several years of professional experience in accounting
- Sound knowledge of HGB, UStG
- Confident handling of MS Office and SAP FI and/or SAP 4/HANA
- Independent, conscientious and goal-oriented way of working
- Responsible, reliable and resilient
- Strong communicator, able to cooperate and work in a team
- Very good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English desirable
