Tasks

• Independent execution of testing assignments in the field of operating fluid analysis, in particular cooling water, fuels, and lubricating oils.
• Examination of samples using wet chemical and instrumental analysis methods (e.g., HPLC, ICP-OES, IC, GC-FID, calorimetry, titration, photometry), including mechanical and chemical preparation
• Recording and logging of test data

requirements

• Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory assistant or chemical-technical assistant
• Experience in instrumental analysis, especially chromatography (GC, HPLC, IC), spectroscopy (ICP-OES), titrations, thermogravimetry, calorimetry
• In-depth knowledge of petroleum analysis desirable
• Independent and goal-oriented approach to work
• Strong ability to work in a team
• Confident use of common computer applications (MS Office, SAP, laboratory databases, etc.)
• Good written and spoken English skills
