Job description

We are looking for a committed Operations Manager (m/f/d) to take on the strategic and operational management of all production and operational processes. You will lead the production team (approx. 25 employees), optimize production processes, and manage all operational areas to ensure quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

Tasks

  • Management of quality management and internal equipment construction
  • Management and further development of production
  • Leading an operational management team: production manager, quality manager, CIP representative
  • Management of the repair department
  • Development and implementation of a future-oriented production strategy
  • Responsibility for the entire production process, from planning and production to delivery
  • Ensuring on-time, cost-optimized, and quality-assured manufacturing
  • Responsibility for quality assurance in all production phases, from material testing to the final product
  • Ensuring continuous error analysis and troubleshooting
  • Responsibility for the development, planning, and manufacture of special mountings, tools, testing, and assembly aids
  • Ensuring time and cost optimization in equipment manufacturing through digitization and standardization
  • Coordination with the areas of development, manufacturing, quality management, purchasing, logistics, and sales to optimize the entire value chain

requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering with knowledge of electrical engineering and a technical background, or further training as an electrical engineering technician.
  • Several years of professional experience in a management position in a medium-sized industrial company
  • Knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, production management, and quality management
  • Experience in the area of employee management
  • Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
  • Holistic and economic understanding
  • Strong social and intercultural skills as well as excellent communication skills
