(Junior) Controller

Job description

We are looking for a committed and motivated (junior) controller (m/f/d) for our renowned customer in the Altenburger Land region.

Tasks

• Preparation and analysis of monthly and production figures 
• Active support for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in close cooperation with the accounting department, as well as for budget and forecast planning
• Calculation of manufacturing costs and valuation of inventories
• Conducting, for example, target/actual comparisons and deviation analyses
• Collaboration on projects for process optimization, digitization, and automation
• Further development of controlling and cost accounting processes
• Contact person for departments regarding economic issues
• Prospectively: Taking on additional responsibilities, such as sub-areas of reporting

requirements

• Completed degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on controlling, finance, or accounting
• Initial professional experience in controlling, accounting, or cost accounting is desirable.
• Enjoyment of numbers, data, analysis, and understanding production processes
• Good knowledge of MS Excel – we will teach you everything else you need to know
• Structured approach to work, team spirit, and a desire to take on responsibility
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Nice to have: Knowledge of SAP (FI/CO, MM, PP, SD) and BI tools (e.g., SAC, Power BI, etc.) for reporting and analysis
