On behalf of our client in the Erlangen area, we are looking for a Project Engineer for Electrical Machines (m/f/d)

As a project engineer (m/f/d), you will be jointly responsible for concept development, layout, design, qualification, and control during the manufacture of electrical machines. Your tasks will focus on conceptual design, developing studies for modernization projects, and creating product design, implementation, and approval documents.

Tasks

• Responsible participation in projects in the field of electrical machine design for nuclear facilities
• Preparation and review of project-specific documents such as specifications, qualification documents, and test instructions
• Preparation and review of preliminary technical documentation
• Preparation of studies on modernization in the field of electrical machines
• Support for manufacturing processes, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems
• Collaboration with customers, partners, and suppliers in international project teams
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and system engineering specifications during the course of the project
   

requirements

• Completed degree (master's/diploma) in electrical engineering
• Several years of experience in the design of electrical machines and generators desirable, ideally in the nuclear sector
• Strong solution orientation, ability to work in interdisciplinary teams Knowledge of IEC regulations and nuclear regulations IEEE, RCC-E/M, KTA desirable
• Experience in installation and commissioning or in the manufacture of electrical machines at customer sites is an advantage.
• Very good MS Office skills
• Business fluent German and English skills C1/C2
