On behalf of our client in the Erlangen area, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for Control and Automation Technology (m/f/d)
As an E-Plan Project Engineer (m/f/d), you will be responsible for electrical engineering concept development, independent elaboration up to production readiness, documentation, and requirements definition. You will provide technical support for production, control programming, and commissioning of the systems in our in-house production facility, but also occasionally at the customer's site.

Tasks
- Creating and developing electrical engineering concepts in collaboration with internal and external customers
- Creation of circuit diagrams/production documents, including 3D assembly drawings
- Component design/definition & application of common standards relating to electrical engineering systems
- Creation of project-specific documentation, including concept description, specifications, FMEA, functional safety verification, testing and commissioning documents
- Collaboration in preparing quotations, including cost calculations and scheduling
- Support for control programming
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of products in Germany and abroad, as well as at the Erlangen site
- Contact with customers/suppliers, including at power plants or trade fairs
requirements
- Electrical engineering training and further training as a technician
- Many years of professional experience
◦ Very good user knowledge of the EPlan Electric P8 and ProPanel (AddOn) electrical planning software
◦ Ideally, in-depth knowledge of the WSCAD electrical planning tool
◦ Relevant technical experience in electrical design and documentation
◦ Knowledge of electrical drive/control and regulation technology with corresponding knowledge of regulations
◦ Knowledge of standards (e.g., DIN EN 60204-1; DINE EN IEC 61439-1)
- Willingness to travel approx. 20%, with willingness to work in nuclear facilities
- Class B driver's license
- English language skills B1
