Tasks

Das kannst Du als  Maschinen- und Anlagenführer (m/w/d) erwarten:

• Setting up, operating, and monitoring screw extrusion systems for the sheathing and coating of optical fibers
• Process control: From fiber feeding and coating to wire and cable assembly
• Ensuring product quality through continuous monitoring of diameter, roundness, damping values, and jacket adhesion
• Material provision and monitoring (granulates, additives, color batches)
• Performing maintenance and setup procedures on the extrusion lines
• Fault analysis and troubleshooting on systems and peripheral devices

requirements

Das bringst Du als Maschinen- und Anlagenführer (m/w/d) im Mittweida mit:

• Completed training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, industrial mechanic, mechatronics engineer, or comparable
• Experience in screw extrusion and ideally in the processing of fiber optic cables or cables
• Knowledge of inline coating and jacket manufacturing
• Safe handling of measurement and testing technology (diameter laser, microscopy, tensile tests)
• Willingness to work shifts
• Independent, precise and quality-oriented way of working
