Service technician (m/f/d) in field service

Job description

 Our client, an innovative and successful company with 30 years of experience in the development and production of hazardous material cabinets, is looking for a service technician (m/f/d) to support its growing service team throughout Germany.

Tasks

•  Conducting regular safety inspections of safety cabinets, hazardous material workstations, and smoking cabins.
• Ensuring flawless operation in safety-critical situations and saving lives.
• Immediate execution of minor repairs during inspections to maintain the value of the products.
• Quick help with product failures for satisfied customers.
• Rough planning by the office staff, detailed planning and weekly route planning by you.
• Coordinating tours with customers, usually completing the weekly workload by Thursday evening.
• Regular overnight stays in hotels (Mon-Wed) required.

requirements

• You have completed technical vocational training, preferably with prior knowledge of electrical engineering (such as EFKffT, automotive mechatronics technician, mechatronics technician, electrician, electronics technician).
• You have already gained experience in the field of external and customer service.
• You have a driver's license that allows you to drive a service vehicle weighing up to 3.5 tons.
• You find it easy to understand technical concepts and are a strong communicator when interacting with customers.
• Thanks to your confident and competent manner, you are able to represent our company and its very high standards of quality and service by dealing with customers correctly and behaving prudently.
