Job description

We are looking for a financial accountant (m/f/d) or balance sheet accountant (m/f/d) for our non-profit client in Eschborn.

Tasks

• Financial accounting, including electronic payment transactions
• Accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset/project and loan accounting
• Review, account assignment, and posting of our business transactions
• Preparation of monthly sales tax returns as well as other tax returns and statistical reports
• Close cooperation with tax advisors and auditors
• Active participation in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Project work, e.g., process development in financial accounting

requirements

• Completed training as a tax clerk, financial or accounting clerk, or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience and advanced knowledge of financial accounting, ideally in the housing industry
• Confident use of ERP systems and MS Office
• Finalized in accordance with HGB
• Solid knowledge of tax law—especially sales tax law
• Good numerical skills, strong team spirit, and an independent and structured approach to work
