Our renowned customer based in Apolda is looking forward to welcoming you as their new Production Manager (m/f/d) – Food on a full-time basis and for direct placement in the team.

Tasks

• Management and motivation of line supervisors (m/f/d) for five production lines, with a focus on starting up, changing over, and shutting down the production lines at the Apolda site.
• Ensuring the production process with regard to occupational safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery
• Active cooperation with related departments, consistent implementation of performance and consumption indicators
• Active support for the organization and management of internal projects and strategic planning
• As Production Manager (m/f/d) – Food, you will report directly to the Operations Management team.

requirements

• Completed degree in food technology, alternatively industrial/technical training with either relevant further qualification in food technology or many years of relevant professional experience as a production manager (m/f/d) – Food in the area of responsibility
• In addition, at least two years of professional experience and knowledge in the food industry
• Willingness to work shifts (24/7) 
• Professional handling of key figures and Microsoft Office applications, SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Confident written and spoken German (C1), own car required to reach the place of work in Apolda
