Tasks

• Checking component drawings according to requirements, dimensions, form and position tolerances, etc.
• Coordination of manufacturing strategies for the various components with the various production departments (
  )
• Determination of measurement strategies and measurement methods according to relevant requirements
• Designing and requesting measurement recordings, preparing and creating measurement programs, measuring equipment, etc. 
• Measuring/testing internal initial samples and components according to measurement specifications using portal
  , and column measuring machines, measuring arms, scanners, and laser trackers, as well as all other standard surface measuring devices and hand-held measuring instruments—including forwarding the
  results to the relevant departments.
• Interpretation of measurement deviations, including coordination of measures in the event of relevant deviations
   
• Preparation of measurement reports and test documents – according to customer requirements

requirements

• Completed training in the metal or plastics processing industry
• Several years of professional experience as a testing and measurement technician 
• Extensive experience in manufacturing and production processes 
• Very good knowledge of testing and length measurement technology 
• Extensive experience in creating measurement programs, ideally using the measurement software
  , Metrosoft Quartis, Hexagon PC-DMIS, and Zeiss Calypso.
• Good knowledge of common MS Office applications 
• Written and spoken English skills (desirable)
• Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
• Goal-oriented thinking and action 
• High degree of initiative, team spirit, and reliability
