Tasks

• Execution and monitoring of the melting process in accordance with quality assurance instructions
• Operation of melting furnaces in accordance with technological regulations (operating instructions) and internal company guidelines
• Preparation of a proper melting report, sampling for spectrometers and thermal analysis
• Quantitative compilation of input materials according to plan grading or metallurgical calculation methods asa smelter (m/f/d)
• Preparation of target analysis in accordance with quality assurance instructions at the Zeitz site

requirements

• Completed specialized training (e.g., foundry mechanic)
• Initial professional experience asa smelter (m/f/d) is an advantage
• Certificates of competence required for operating cab- and floor-controlled cranes and for operating industrial trucks
• Willingness to work shifts, written and spoken German (C1)
• Own car recommended for reaching the workplace in Zeitz
