Tasks

• Continuous implementation of product optimizations and mastering measures to maximize customer usage and minimize costs
• Responsible for mechanical design on behalf of customers, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality, and costs
• Expert advice and support for technical questions
• Responsible for adapting technical solutions for individual elements in terms of layout, functionality, or design, as well as for customer-specific adaptations in accordance with customer requirements.
• Organization, planning, and supervision of internal projects within the design department
• Responsibility for developing previously unrealized arrangements of new or known elements into a new working principle in accordance with customer-specific requirements

requirements

• Successfully completed degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or alternatively successfully completed training as a technician or similar qualifications 
• Initial professional experience in design, preferably in plant engineering
• Very good knowledge of 3D CAD systems such as Autodesk Inventor and Vault
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Mechanical (2D) desirable
• Confident use of ERP systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a team, solution-oriented approach to work, and actions with an entrepreneurial perspective
