For our client, one of the global market leaders in the chemical industry, we are looking for a technician (m/f/d) in the field of materials engineering or similar at their Hanau site to start as soon as possible.

Tasks
- Processing material characterization tasks for quality assurance of products in the manufacturing areas, to support R&D issues, and to clarify damage and complaint cases using several analysis methods.
- Qualified operation of analytical equipment and comprehensive specialized software (SEM, EDX, report generation)
- Qualified backup of other analytical methods (e.g., XPS)
- Sample preparation (steaming, grinding, assembly) of metals, ceramics, plastics, composite materials, components, and semi-finished products
requirements
- Completed training or technical degree in physics, materials science, materials engineering, or a comparable scientific-technical field
- Professional experience in a related field, ideally in materials analysis or materials testing
- Practical knowledge of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) – at least 6 months of relevant experience
- Knowledge of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is desirable but not essential.
- Very good written and spoken German
