Tasks
- Responsibility for all manufacturing and production planning, including control of production capacities and processes
- Management and development of the production team (team leadership, training, motivation, conflict management)
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, production specifications, and safety guidelines
- Monitoring and optimization of production processes in terms of quality, efficiency, and costs
- Planning and implementation of production orders, taking into account deadlines, budgets, and resources
- Introduction and implementation of lean management methods and continuous improvement processes (CIP)
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work in cooperation with the technical department
- Monitoring and analyzing production figures and results, and deriving measures for process optimization
- Close cooperation with other departments such as logistics, quality management, and purchasing
- Responsibility for the implementation of investment projects and the introduction of new production methods or technologies
requirements
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, production management, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production management, ideally in an industrial company
- Experience in leading and developing teams
- In-depth knowledge of production planning, control, and process optimization
- Very good knowledge of lean management and production methods
- Technical understanding and strong problem-solving skills
- Very good MS Office skills, ideally experience with production planning and control software (e.g., SAP)
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
- High resilience, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Very good written and spoken German, English skills an advantage
