Job description

Tasks

• Responsibility for all manufacturing and production planning, including control of production capacities and processes
• Management and development of the production team (team leadership, training, motivation, conflict management)
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, production specifications, and safety guidelines
• Monitoring and optimization of production processes in terms of quality, efficiency, and costs
• Planning and implementation of production orders, taking into account deadlines, budgets, and resources
• Introduction and implementation of lean management methods and continuous improvement processes (CIP)
• Carrying out maintenance and repair work in cooperation with the technical department
• Monitoring and analyzing production figures and results, and deriving measures for process optimization
• Close cooperation with other departments such as logistics, quality management, and purchasing
• Responsibility for the implementation of investment projects and the introduction of new production methods or technologies

requirements

• Completed degree in mechanical engineering, production management, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in manufacturing or production management, ideally in an industrial company
• Experience in leading and developing teams
• In-depth knowledge of production planning, control, and process optimization
• Very good knowledge of lean management and production methods
• Technical understanding and strong problem-solving skills
• Very good MS Office skills, ideally experience with production planning and control software (e.g., SAP)
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working
• High resilience, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented mindset
• Very good written and spoken German, English skills an advantage
