Tasks

• Scheduling and organization of transport orders for domestic and international deliveries
• Selection of suitable modes of transport (truck, ship, plane) taking into account costs and time
• Preparation of shipping documents, such as bills of lading, customs documents, and delivery notes
• Negotiating with service providers, freight forwarders, and carriers to achieve optimal conditions
• Monitoring and coordination of delivery dates and conditions
• Complaint handling and claims management
• Customs clearance and documentation for international shipments
• Maintaining customer data and preparing quotations
• Close cooperation with internal departments such as warehousing, sales, and production
• Remuneration depending on qualifications

requirements

• Completed commercial training in the field of freight forwarding or logistics (e.g., as a freight forwarding agent)
• Professional experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of international transport regulations (e.g., customs clearance, Incoterms)
• Very good written and spoken German, good English skills an advantage
• Confident use of MS Office and, ideally, experience with freight forwarding software (e.g., TimoCom, SAP)
• Independent and structured approach to work, as well as a high degree of reliability and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a dynamic environment
