Tasks
- Management of day-to-day accounting, including accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Checking, assigning, and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
- Posting bank transactions and reconciling accounts
- Monitoring incoming and outgoing payments and dunning
- Preparation of evaluations and reports for management
- Communication with tax advisors and tax authorities
- Preparation of advance VAT returns
- Processing travel expense reports and other tasks in the area of financial accounting
- Remuneration depending on qualifications
requirements
- Completed commercial training, ideally as an accountant or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in accounting or financial accounting
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and common accounting software solutions (e.g., DATEV, SAP)
- Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
- Independent and structured approach to work with a high degree of reliability
- Good written and spoken German
- Ability to work in a team and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Ideally, knowledge of tax law and experience in preparing tax returns
