We are looking for you as a committed and qualified machining mechanic for our team in Augsburg. The position requires willingness to work in a 3-shift system.

Tasks
- Machine Setup and Operation: Independently setting up, loading, and controlling modern CNC machining centers as well as conventional lathes and milling machines, including selecting the appropriate tools
- NC Programming: Independently running in, adjusting, and creating machining programs directly on the machine (e.g., using ShopTurn/ShopMill) in collaboration with the programming department
- Custom Parts and Special-Purpose Machine Manufacturing: Precise production of custom machine components and sophisticated one-of-a-kind pieces instead of generic mass-produced goods
- Technical Work Planning: Accurate interpretation and independent implementation of complex technical drawings, work plans, and manufacturing instructions
- Quality Assurance: Continuous dimensional inspection of workpieces using various measuring instruments, as well as independent documentation and verification of quality specifications
requirements
- Qualifications & Experience: Completed apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d) with several years of practical experience in the production of complex individual parts, and ideally a forklift operator's license
- Focus on Large Parts & CNC: Extensive experience in NC milling and turning of modern large components (up to 100 metric tons), as well as in-depth knowledge of working with high-quality materials and the Siemens 840D control system
- Precision & Documentation: Absolute confidence in using standard testing and measuring equipment, as well as the ability to accurately read, understand, and interpret complex technical drawings
- Work Style: A strong sense of responsibility, reliability, the ability to work well in a team, and a conscientious and self-directed work style
- Flexibility & Language: Full willingness to work in a 3-shift system and on weekends, as well as excellent written and spoken German skills
