Tasks

• Smooth customs clearance and declaration of goods.
• Regular internal audits and preparation / monitoring of external audits.
• Direct contact for all authorities (customs office, district office, IHK, FDA etc.), service providers, customers and internally.
• Ensuring compliance with all security-related, organizational and disciplinary regulations based on current customs and foreign trade regulations as well as the site's current permit.
• Checking the necessity and procurement of certificates and special documents for export depending on the destination country.
• Management of external service providers
• Management and regular control of bonded warehouse stocks.

requirements

• Completed commercial training or studies in the logistics sector
• Extensive professional experience in the field of customs clearance and ongoing training in the customs area
• Good MS-Office knowledge as well as knowledge of ERP / merchandise management systems and IT-supported ATLAS customs clearance / Dakosy GE
• Very good German and good English skills
