Tasks
- Development of hardware-related firmware for our measuring systems and positioning drives, from the initial product idea to series production readiness
- Help shape new functionalities for the next product generation in an interdisciplinary, agile team
- Definition, design, implementation, and verification of embedded software in C
- Testing the developed solutions and ensuring high code quality
- Evaluation of test and measurement results
requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, embedded systems, or comparable qualification with at least 5 years of professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of embedded software programming in C
- Experience in the design and development of algorithms and embedded programming in C
- Knowledge in the areas of digital and analog circuit technology
- Knowledge of industrial measurement technology, sensor technology, and/or actuator technology
- Knowledge of common interface protocols such as CAN, CANopen, CANopen Safety, IO-Link, Profibus, SPI, and/or SAE J1939 is an advantage.
- Experience with RTOS desirable
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
