We are currently seeking an operational purchaser (m/f/d) for our client company in Freiburg.

Tasks

• Identification and evaluation of potential suppliers and service providers
• Negotiation of prices, delivery terms, and contract conditions
• Creation and management of orders and monitoring of delivery dates
• Analysis of market trends and cost developments
• Coordination with internal departments to determine requirements and draw up specifications
• Maintaining and expanding supplier relationships
• Ensuring quality standards and compliance in purchasing
• Cost control and optimization in the procurement process
• Preparation of reports and presentations on purchasing activities and results
• Implementation of strategies for risk minimization in procurement

• Completed degree in economics, completed commercial vocational training, or comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in operational purchasing or purchasing administration
• Very good MS Office skills
