Tasks
- Motivating and Leading Your Own Logistics Team in a Shift Work Environment
- Ensuring that daily operations in the warehouse run smoothly
- Daily management of operational processes with a focus on priorities and achieving volume targets
- Assistance with staffing and resource planning in close coordination with the Area Manager / Shift Supervisor (m/f/d)
- Monitoring key performance indicators such as productivity, accuracy, and dock-to-stock time to ensure efficient processing
- Implementation of safety, quality, and compliance requirements in accordance with corporate guidelines
- Project support and involvement in the planning and execution of peak periods (e.g., Black Friday, Christmas)
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the optimization of daily work
requirements
- Completed vocational training or a degree in logistics, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- Previous management experience in warehouse logistics, ideally in the e-commerce or contract logistics sector, is a plus
- Strong knowledge of operational logistics processes and management
- Experience working with ERP systems and basic knowledge of Excel
- A pragmatic approach, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work in shifts
- Good knowledge of German, knowledge of English an advantage
