Machining Specialist (m/f/d) – Grinding

Job description

For our renowned client in the defense industry in Oberndorf am Neckar, we are currently seeking a Machining Specialist (m/f/d) in the grinding department, with pay up to €26.03 per hour plus shift premiums.

Tasks

• Independently preparing, setting up, and operating grinding machines and jig grinders
• Running-in, optimizing, and adjusting CNC programs, as well as simulating manufacturing processes
• Determining machining parameters and carrying out small-batch and single-part production
• Loading and unloading the machines, as well as monitoring the entire manufacturing process
• Performing maintenance work, troubleshooting, and quality control of manufactured parts with regard to dimensional accuracy, condition, and completeness

requirements

• Experience in setting up and operating machines, ideally several years of professional experience in the field of machining
• Proficiency in working with technical drawings and using conventional measuring instruments
• Willingness to work multiple shifts
• Ability to work as part of a team, flexibility, and a structured and independent approach to work
• A strong commitment to quality and safety, as well as the ability to grasp new concepts quickly
