Tasks
- The production of cables—ranging from simple to complex—is in your hands—you’ll be working in accordance with applicable standards, technical drawings, bills of materials, and work plans
- Use your technical skills and experience to properly strip wires and cables
- The shrinking of hoses and fittings is also part of your area of responsibility
- They crimp and solder contacts and carefully assemble and install connectors
- You independently check the quality of your work as part of defined quality control processes
- In addition, you will handle the maintenance and repair of cables—from simple to complex
requirements
- You have completed a vocational training program with a focus on electrical systems, electronics, mechanics, or mechatronics/automotive mechatronics, or you have a comparable qualification
- You have professional experience in cable manufacturing and possess the relevant, practical knowledge
- A good understanding of technical drawings, bills of materials, and work plans will make your day-to-day work easier
- Your work is characterized by attention to detail, reliability, and high standards of quality
- You are willing to work a two-shift schedule (Mon–Fri)
- You work independently and in an organized manner, and you maintain a clear overview even when dealing with complex tasks
- You have experience with soldering and crimping
