Janitor (m/f/d)

Job description

We are seeking a janitor (m/f/d) on a temporary assignment basis for a well-known logistics company in Ginsheim-Gustavsburg, to start as soon as possible.

Tasks

•  Daily inspection of cleanliness in the warehouse through regular rounds

• Regular cleaning and inspection of outdoor facilities, parking lot, bicycle shelter, loading ramps, truck parking spaces

• Daily and, if necessary, cleaning within the building in relation to the storage area, e.g. cleaning of internal traffic routes

• Maintenance of the building within the scope of his or her abilities (such as minor repairs, touch-ups, etc.), as well as overseeing major repairs carried out by outside contractors

• Daily documentation (partly on the computer)

• Compliance with Occupational Safety Regulations 

requirements

• Completed vocational training in a trade or technical field is preferred (e.g., electrician, painter, carpenter, plant mechanic (m/f/d)) or comparable professional experience
• Experience in building maintenance, building systems, or facility management is desirable
• Craftsmanship and technical understanding
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Physical stamina and a strong work ethic, as well as good written and spoken German skills
• PC skills
