Tasks

• Manufacturing: Production of press, embossing, punching, and forming dies, as well as casting molds
• Machining: Drilling, Milling, Turning, and Grinding of Metal and Plastic Parts
• Programming: Setting Up and Operating CNC-Controlled Machine Tools
• Assembly: Assembling individual components into fully functional systems
• Maintenance & Repair: Repair worn or defective tools and perform test runs

• Manual dexterity: Essential for filing, drilling, sanding, and polishing materials.
• Precision & Care: Components often have to fit with an accuracy of a fraction of a millimeter (a drive for perfection).
• Spatial visualization: Important for transforming two-dimensional sketches into three-dimensional shapes.
• Technical aptitude: Willingness to program and operate state-of-the-art, computer-controlled CNC machines
