Skilled Metalworker for Flatbed Laser Machines (m/f/d)

Job description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled metalworker for flatbed lasers (m/f/d) as part of a temporary staffing assignment.

Tasks

• Independently setting up, configuring, and operating CNC flatbed laser systems 
• Selection, preparation, and loading of sheet metal onto the flatbed laser cutting machines
• Start, monitor, and, if necessary, adjust the cutting parameters to ensure cut quality
• Quality control of the manufactured parts (dimensional accuracy, surface finish, etc.)
• Identifying and Resolving Issues During the Ongoing Manufacturing Process

requirements

• Completed training in the metalworking field is a plus
• Experience operating CNC flatbed laser cutting machines, preferably from Trumpf and Salvagnini
• Reading and Implementing Technical Drawings
• Experience with CAM systems for nesting and cutting planning is a plus
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication (e.g., folding) is a plus
• Experience with measuring and testing equipment for quality assurance
• Ability to work independently and a sense of responsibility
• Willingness to work shifts
