Skilled Metalworker in the Edge-Folding Department (m/f/d)

Job description

We are looking for a skilled metalworker specializing in edging (m/f/d) for a temporary staffing assignment.

Tasks

• Independently setting up and operating a CNC press brake 
• Work according to technical drawings and specifications
• Measuring parts (first-piece and last-piece inspections) and performing ongoing quality control of the manufactured workpieces (dimensional accuracy, surface finish, etc.)
• Detecting and resolving minor issues during the ongoing machining process
• Creation of CNC Programs

requirements

• Completed training in the metalworking field is a plus
• Experience operating CNC press brakes, preferably from Bystronic and Amada
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming and sheet metal fabrication (e.g., laser cutting) is a plus
• Reading and Implementing Technical Drawings
• Understanding of bending processes, materials (steel, stainless steel, aluminum), and manufacturing tolerances
• Experience with measuring and testing equipment for quality assurance
• Shift readiness
