Tasks

At the Würzburg branch, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Procurement of goods and services for all business units
• Determining needs and selecting suitable suppliers
• Obtaining and comparing quotes, as well as negotiating prices, delivery terms, and contracts
• Monitoring delivery dates and inventory levels, as well as handling customer complaints
• Maintaining supplier relationships and identifying opportunities for cost optimization

requirements

• Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing, ideally in central purchasing or a similar position
• Strong knowledge of contract law and supplier evaluation, negotiation skills, and excellent communication skills
• The ability to work independently and in an organized manner, the ability to work well in a team, assertiveness, and a solution-oriented approach to work
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Fluency in both spoken and written German and English
