Tasks
- Creating CNC programs (tool preselection, prototype programming, determining and modifying zero points, creating program and tool-changing instructions, etc.)
- Setting up and configuring components on CNC machines (mass production, custom-made parts, tool calibration, etc.)
- Machine operation (loading components, operating multiple machines, etc.)
- Monitor machining processes and troubleshoot problems, etc.
- Quality control of machined parts (initial inspection, dimensional inspection against drawings, reporting, etc.)
- SAP Order Data Entry (Time Tracking, etc.)
- Inspection and Maintenance (equipment maintenance, refilling and replacing consumables and operating supplies, record-keeping, etc.)
requirements
- Successful completion of technical training in the metalworking field (e.g., machining technician or similar)
- several years of professional experience in the CNC field
- Previous experience with SAP is preferred
- mathematical understanding
- Experience with MS Office is preferred
