Tasks

• Creating CNC programs (tool preselection, prototype programming, determining and modifying zero points, creating program and tool-changing instructions, etc.)
• Setting up and configuring components on CNC machines (mass production, custom-made parts, tool calibration, etc.)
• Machine operation (loading components, operating multiple machines, etc.)
• Monitor machining processes and troubleshoot problems, etc.
• Quality control of machined parts (initial inspection, dimensional inspection against drawings, reporting, etc.)
• SAP Order Data Entry (Time Tracking, etc.)
• Inspection and Maintenance (equipment maintenance, refilling and replacing consumables and operating supplies, record-keeping, etc.)

requirements

• Successful completion of technical training in the metalworking field (e.g., machining technician or similar)
•  several years of professional experience in the CNC field
• Previous experience with SAP is preferred
• mathematical understanding
• Experience with MS Office is preferred
