We are currently seeking a full-time Quality Inspector (m/f/d) for our client in Kassel as part of a temporary staffing assignment, starting immediately.

Tasks
- Conducting surface and crack inspections as part of non-destructive testing (NDT)
- Issuance of production approvals based on the inspections performed and quality requirements
- Creation, processing, and tracking of error reports, including the issuance and documentation of administrative decisions
- Independently communicate and coordinate with employees, functional departments, and supervisors to ensure a smooth testing and quality assurance process
- Inspection of assemblies and individual parts in both new production and repair operations
- Confirmation and Documentation of Work Steps in the ERP System
- Conducting incoming and outgoing inspections of welded assemblies and welded components
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulations, and internal guidelines throughout the entire testing process
requirements
- Completed vocational training as a materials tester (m/f/d), welding technician (m/f/d), welder (m/f/d), or in a comparable metalworking trade
- Qualification and certification in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9712 for the following methods: VT (visual inspection) Level 2, PT (penetrant testing) Level 2, and MT (magnetic particle testing) Level 2
- In-depth knowledge in the field of materials and quality testing
- Proficiency in SAP, CAQ BABTEC, and MS Office is preferred
- Experience in documenting and evaluating test results
- Knowledge of relevant codes and quality standards in the metalworking and welding fields
- Experience working with technical drawings and manufacturing documents
- A meticulous, responsible, and quality-oriented approach to work
- Ability to work as part of a team, reliability, and a strong technical understanding
