Warehouse employee (m/f/d)

Job description

On behalf of our client, one of the global market leaders in the chemical industry, we are seeking several logistics professionals (m/f/d) with a forklift operator’s license to start as soon as possible. 

The positions are available on a two-shift basis at the Bitterfeld-Wolfen site.

Tasks

• Performing packaging, loading, and shipping tasks
• Transport, loading, and unloading of goods using industrial trucks and crane systems
• Processing of incoming and outgoing goods, including identity checks and visual inspections
• Picking, packing, labeling, and preparing shipments in accordance with internal guidelines
• Entering transactions and maintaining documentation in the IT systems in use
• Ensuring that cargo is properly secured and that quality, safety, and shipping regulations are followed
• Support with inventories and stock checks
• Flexible work in related areas of warehouse, shipping, and production logistics

requirements

• Completed vocational training in logistics, a technical field, or a trade
• Alternatively, practical experience in the areas of packaging, logistics, production, and/or shipping
• Safe Operation of Industrial Trucks (Must Hold a Forklift Operator's License)
• Crane operator's license or willingness to obtain the qualification (can be obtained on-site)
• Basic PC skills
• Experience with SAP or similar systems is preferred
• Excellent written and spoken German skills
• Reliable and careful way of working
