Construction Mechanic (m/f/d) – Metalworking

Job description

On behalf of our client, one of the global market leaders in the chemical industry, we are seeking a Design Mechanic (m/f/d) or someone with comparable qualifications to start as soon as possible. The position involves a day shift schedule with availability for a two-shift rotation at the Hanau location.

Tasks

• Processing sheet metal, tubes, and wires of various dimensions into a variety of components, using a combination of different forming processes along with the necessary annealing, straightening, and cutting processes
• Producing complex and uniform welds
• Reading Complex Drawings
• Reporting on work progress in SAP, including documentation of production process data and inspection steps

requirements

• Successful completion of an apprenticeship as an industrial or construction mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable program
• Several years of professional experience as a TIG welder specializing in thin sheet metal
• Expertise in the manufacture of precious metal products, particularly in the following processes: reading blueprints, welding, forming, cutting, grinding, and drilling
• Craftsmanship
• General computer skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office and SAP
• Basic knowledge of English
• Willingness to work 2 shifts (early and late shift)
• Upon hiring: a clean Schufa record and a police clearance certificate
