Tasks
- Support for small-batch production for process characterization studies, including plastic processing operations: liner stretchers, shaft assemblies, and the like.
- Analysis of Measurement Data and Preparation of Reports
- Taking independent responsibility for the development of cutting processes for catheter tubing
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during PCS construction (e.g., marks and contamination caused by the removal of auxiliary tools)
- Moving between the various production areas (production, cleanroom, laboratories)
requirements
- A successfully completed bachelor's degree in materials science or a comparable qualification in engineering or a related technical field
- Experience working with machinery in a production environment
- Experience in plastics processing, catheter manufacturing, or shaft manufacturing is a plus
- Experience in process development in the medical field, ideally with hands-on experience in shaft manufacturing processes
- Willingness to work under cleanroom conditions
- A good command of English is required
- Good knowledge of German
