We are looking for a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) for one of our clients at the Salzgitter site of the .
Your responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and carrying out the mechanical commissioning of systems and machines.
You will be responsible for the assembly and adjustment of mechanical components, fault analysis and troubleshooting, and the preparation of technical documentation.
You will assist in training operating personnel and ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements.

Tasks
- Cold start-up and functional testing of pumps, valves, tanks, etc.
- Handover of systems and system components from the assembly line
- Support and coordination of pipe flushing and purging activities
- Supporting young engineering colleagues with system commissioning in the Balance of Plant area, e.g., cooling water, process water, nitrogen, and caustic systems
- Troubleshooting
- Conducting Inspections
- Documentation of the commissioning steps
requirements
- You have completed vocational training as a technician or hold a higher qualification in the field of mechanics
- Hands-on experience with > 5–7 years of experience in the field
- Experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry is a plus
- Very good knowledge of German and English
