On behalf of our client, a major European defense contractor that manufactures military land systems in Kassel , we are seeking machinists (m/f/d) specializing in milling technology (FK 31) for temporary assignment.

Tasks
- Check production documents for completeness
- Load the CNC programs and cutting tools into the milling machine and adjust them as needed
- Set up the milling machine according to the work plan
- Inspect the workpiece and, if necessary, determine and set the correction values
- Align workpieces and set the zero point
- Identify, point out, and resolve problems in the workflow / Conduct worker self-inspections
- Document workflows or modify documentation
- Perform a collision check while machining workpieces
requirements
- Completed training as a machining technician (m/f/d) specializing in milling technology, or as a toolmaker (m/f/d) with a focus on milling, or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in machining
- Machine controls: “Siemens 840D,” “One,” or “Heidenhain CNC Mill Plus”
- On-Call Duty (3-Shift System)
- Good written and spoken German
- Willingness to Relocate
