Tasks
- Ensuring that the company receives materials on time, while taking inventory targets into account, in collaboration with Purchasing, internal manufacturing departments, sales departments, and suppliers
- Responsibility for the key process elements of demand forecasting, inventory monitoring, ordering, order tracking, and goods receipt control
- Automatic and manual generation and monitoring of purchase requisitions
- Tracking order confirmations, verifying promised delivery dates, and proactively resolving issues when delivery dates for purchased parts are not met
- Preparation of regular material requirements forecasts and development of strategic inventory management strategies
- Mapping and Managing Complex Material Flows in the ERP System / Identifying Opportunities and Risks Related to Procurement
requirements
- A successfully completed business apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in inventory planning or purchasing, or a college degree
- Knowledge of the various scheduling and control procedures and parameters
- Analytical thinking skills and strong coordination and organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of SAP / good IT skills, particularly in MS Office / excellent written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to Relocate
