Machining Technician (m/f/d) – Turning

Job description

We are looking for you —a machinist / lathe operator (m/f/d)—to join a well-known company in the defense industry in the Oberndorf am Neckar area, offering up to 26.03 € per hour plus shift premiums.

Tasks

• Determining and specifying machining parameters for the production of workpieces, e.g., in the field of turning
• Independently setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machine tools
• Loading and unloading the machines and ensuring a smooth manufacturing process
• Performing minor maintenance and repair work, as well as reporting and resolving malfunctions
• Ensuring quality through dimensional and visual inspections, as well as performing any necessary rework

requirements

• Successfully completed apprenticeship as a machining technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification 
• Previous work experience in CNC turning is preferred
• Knowledge of CNC machine control systems, e.g., Siemens and Heidenhain
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
• The ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as strong teamwork skills
