Tasks

• Planning and Management of Domestic and International Shipments
• Ensuring On-Time Delivery and Delivery Capacity
• Scheduling of Transports and Shipments
• Selection and Management of Freight Forwarders, Carriers, and Logistics Service Providers
• Preparation, review, and management of shipping and transport documents
• Shipment Tracking and Monitoring of In-Transit Shipments
• Handling of Complaints and Shipping Damage
• Verification and Review of Freight Invoices
• Communication with Customers, Suppliers, and Logistics Partners
• Coordinating Delivery Dates and Shipping Requirements
• Obtaining and Comparing Transportation Quotes
• Optimization of Transportation Routes and Transportation Costs
• Maintenance of Master and Transportation Data
• Documentation of Logistical Processes
• Creation of evaluations and statistics
• Participation in national and international transportation and logistics projects

requirements

• Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk or comparable business qualification
• Work experience in transportation planning and scheduling
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes and procedures
• Confident use of ERP systems and MS Office
• Knowledge of SAP and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is a plus
• Knowledge of customs and export procedures is desirable
• Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English
• Independent, reliable and responsible way of working
