Skilled Worker (m/f/d) in Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering

Job description

On behalf of our client, one of the global market leaders in the chemical industry, we are seeking a skilled worker (m/f/d) for the Bitterfeld-Wolfen location to start as soon as possible.

It is important that the switching rating be at least 1 kV.

The position is full-time and is to be filled on a temporary basis.

Tasks

• Carrying out maintenance, repair, renovation, and new construction work on production facilities and building systems
• Analysis, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting of machines, complex plant systems, and mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation and control systems, including PLC-controlled systems
• Manufacturing, machining, and repairing mechanical components according to technical drawings using machining processes, as well as installing electrical components according to circuit and wiring diagrams
• Assembly and disassembly of subassemblies and components according to technical drawings, including functional, quality, and fit-and-finish inspections as part of maintenance and optimization measures

requirements

• Successful completion of technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field)
• Rated voltage of at least 1 kV
• Relevant professional experience
• A solid understanding of technology and physics
• Strong practical problem-solving skills and manual dexterity
• Strong mathematical skills and the ability to think in a structured, logical, and spatial manner
• Willingness and aptitude for performing tasks involving specific hazards, particularly work involving a risk of falling, in mine areas, near cranes, with industrial trucks, and on ladders.
• German spoken and written
• Forklift license desirable
