Our client is a major European defense contractor that manufactures military land systems at its Kassel facility. We are seeking a dedicated Production Controller (m/f/d) who, with organizational skills, foresight, and a structured approach to work, will actively help shape the production processes. Tasks

• You will assess the feasibility of orders, enter them into the SAP system, and manage and schedule production orders for manufacturing.
• You will coordinate materials and manufacturing processes, prioritize individual materials, and ensure a smooth production run, including monitoring the status of the process.
• You will coordinate schedules with the project, sales, and scheduling departments, handle reporting on missing parts, and keep track of delivery dates.
• You approve production orders after checking the availability of materials and resources, and assist with capacity planning for individual projects.

requirements

• You have completed vocational training in a business or technical field. Additional training to become a master craftsman (m/f/d) or technician (m/f/d) is a plus.
• You have very strong SAP skills, particularly in the PP and CS modules, and ideally have already gained some experience in production control.
• Knowledge of REFA is preferred. You should also have a strong command of the German language, both spoken and written.
• You enjoy working as part of a team, communicate clearly, and impress others with your structured approach to work and your assertiveness.
