Tasks
- Planning and organizing manufacturing and work processes based on the type and quantity of products to be manufactured, resources, capacity, time, and quality
- Responsibility for planning the entire technical manufacturing process of a part—responsibility for the cost-optimized production of parts
Support with technical feasibility studies (NPI)
- Optimal planning of manufacturing processes based on knowledge of existing machinery and technologies, while taking into account quality, budget, and schedule requirements – creation and maintenance of master data in SAP (material, bill of materials, work plan, work center, vWB info record)
- Transferring Modified Items to Production Control (New Part, Old Part, Usage Decision, Project, ECN Information)
- Request from external vWB for a cost estimate
- Procurement of Materials for Prototype Production
- Production Support for Complex Components
- Modification of drawings (adding general notes regarding contour changes and manufacturing-related dimensions; no changes to original drawing specifications) using Adobe Acrobat
Maintenance and creation of Cappknowledge time modules in SAP in coordination with department management
- Coordinating cross-departmental consultations regarding equipment approval
- Creating setups in SAP and linking them to work steps
Creating process and work instructions (QMV, QMA)
- Processing / Implementation of Actions in Response to Quality Reports
requirements
- A completed 4-year college degree in a specific field
- Several years of professional experience
- Expertise in metalworking
- Expert Knowledge of the SAP PP Module
- Participation in the continuous improvement process – Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Language skills: German C2, English B2
- Willingness to pursue further education
